Excerpt:
The characters are interesting and include elves, dwarves, witches – or Vendosh as they prefer to be called and more. The energy between Lexi and Aeric, the Prince of Gowerland is interesting to watch progress. Lexi’s friend and mentor, Vendosh Kiandra is probably my favorite character, so wise and kind.

I'm excited to see the character development for our two chosen ones, Lexi and Prince Aeric. Aeric is an ass to the highest degree - his character arc is going to be something! I'm interested to see how these characters will mature over their journey.

This is a pretty expansive, and complex world that includes so many varying peoples and creatures. I really started to enjoy the relationship between Lexi and Aeric. There is definitely a promise of more action and banter in the next book!

A Journey Unveiled was a fun read! It is something different from the average YA fantasy, and I can’t wait to see how the story continues. From the first page I was interested, and the world developed so nicely!
About the author
Amy Maltman’s first novel, Ride Every Stride, reached #1 on Amazon charts around the world and is currently rated 4.32/5 with 66 ratings on Goodreads. Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Amy grew up obsessed with animals and Star Wars. Not much has changed.
A graduate of the Universities of Guelph and Toronto, Amy is now a disabled pharmacist with syringomyelia, a rare spinal cord disorder. She enjoys spending time with her menagerie of pets (which is never large enough and needs a pig no matter what anyone says), reading, watching too many movies and too much TV (Supernatural marathons ahem), and collecting Funko POPs. You’ll rarely find her cooking.
Amy is passionate about animal welfare and the environment and dreams of founding a farm animal sanctuary which she would name Boomerang Farm in honour of her golden retriever, Boomer, who died of cancer far too young.
