I really liked how Sabeara grew in Hearted and became more independent and assertive. I’m not a fan of the princess trope very much, but I LOVE when the princess becomes more powerful. This was a fun and entertaining read. It’s great for readers who like interesting magic systems and growing characters!

The world-building remains my favorite part of this series and I love how multilayered and different each land is. There are places that seem like a fairytale and there are places that are fraught with danger, with everything in between.

I loved both the books. The character development was excellent. Sabeara/Ehren has developed a lot with time. She has become brave and confident. I loved the new characters but I missed the old characters from Granted and hope to see them soon in the next book.

About the Author
Kendra Thomas is from Mapleton Utah, a small town pressed against the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Kendra has been an aspiring author since she was in sixth grade. She has a passion for fairytales and fiction books. Along with songwriting, horse riding, and playing the guitar.
Kendra Thomas is a Dental Hygienist by day and a writer by night. She earned her bachelors degree at the Utah College of Dental Hygiene at the young age of nineteen years old. She is also happily married to her best friend, Cade Thomas, who is always pushing her to be ambitious and creative.
Her most wanted dream is for others to love her stories and characters as much as she cherishes them. She hopes to inspire other young authors to pursue their dreams, and to write about the worlds inside their heads as she was once inspired to do as a young girl.
She hopes that the Granted Series might be a place of sanctuary for those seeking a whimsical getaway and a thrilling adventure.
